Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is hiring an experienced Service Technician to join our Oakdale team. You will perform propane service, install tanks, and respond to customer emergencies while rotating on-call status.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional growth within a supportive environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CT G1/G2 license or RI PJF/PJ and CT license willingness, 2–3 years propane/oil service, CDL A/B, Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Connecticut G1/G2 license or RI PJF/PJ license with willingness to obtain CT license within timelines.
2–3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC experience a plus.
CDL class A or B is required.
Hazmat endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 weeks.
Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Propane service and tank installation.
Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection.
Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends.
Maintain spare tanks in plants and prepare them for service.
Perform tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
Cross-trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries.
Communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.
