Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring for a forklift operator to move products from trucks to staging areas and maintain a safe, organized workspace. You will perform routine safety checks and adhere to lockout/tagout procedures while ensuring inventory integrity during loading and unloading.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to work any shift, and the ability to obtain certification for industrial forklift operation.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Willing to work any shift.
• Certified industrial driver or ability to get certified.
• Ability to safely operate a propane powered forklift.
• Experience in packaging/manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move product from truck to staging area safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily safety inspections of equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures on trailers.
• Maintain good housekeeping and manufacturing practices at all times.
• Pick and stage orders and load/unload trucks while safeguarding inventory.
