Job summary

The Energy Cooperative in Nashport, OH, seeks a Propane Driver / Service Technician to deliver propane and provide on-site service for members. You will install tanks, perform inspections, and respond to emergencies in a safety-conscious, compliant environment.

Requires a Class B CDL, hazmat/tanker/air brakes endorsements or ability to obtain them, plus propane installation certification. Moderate physical effort and occasional after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Must possess a valid Class B or greater Commercial Driver's License with good driving record.
• Hazardous materials, tanker and air brakes endorsements required or obtainable.
• Certification in propane system installation, operation and service.

Responsibilities

• Install/replace propane storage tanks, lines, regulators, and meters at member locations.
• Deliver propane and propane accessories to members.
• Perform gas leak and appliance inspections; leak testing with propane industry equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls, including after hours and holidays.
• Prepare documentation on installations, checks, replacements, repairs and inspections.
