Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring a Production Worker for the outside production area of the Cylinder Exchange facility. You will process 20 lb cylinders, with emphasis on safety and quality, and assist with loading shipments.

The role requires standing 8–12 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following established procedures. High school diploma or GED is required; prior manufacturing experience is preferred. This is an on-site production position in Louisiana.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow processes and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
• Maintain safety focus and wear PPE at all times.
• Ensure consistent quality of processed cylinders.
• Load filled cylinders onto trucks for next-day shipments.
• Stand and walk 8-12 hours per day.
• Lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
