Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a Production Worker to operate in the outside production area of the Cylinder Exchange facility. The role involves processing 20 lb cylinders, loading shipments, and maintaining safety throughout the shift.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience. Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand long hours is required; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain state licensing and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
• Maintain a safety focus at all times and wear the proper PPE.
• Ensure the consistent quality of cylinders are being processed.
• Load filled cylinders onto the truck(s) for the next day’s shipments.
• Able to stand and walk 8–12 hours per day.
• Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
