Job summary

Sierra Propane is seeking a seasonal Propane Delivery Driver in California to load, transport, and deliver propane safely to homes and businesses, while ensuring strict safety compliance and excellent customer service. You will perform daily vehicle inspections, learn delivery routes, and participate in on-call rotations as needed.

The role requires a CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 75 lbs and pull 125 lbs; pay is hourly with a $3,000

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements.

• Provide professional, courteous service at every customer location.
• Work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require.

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

• You’re consistently completing safe, on-time deliveries while following DOT, safety, and company standards.
• Customers recognize you as a reliable point of contact and trust you in their homes and facilities.
• Your truck inspections, paperwork, and electronic reporting are accurate and completed daily.
• You’re comfortable participating in the on-call rotation and communicating clearly when schedules change.

What You’ll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days

• Complete onboarding, safety training, and ride-alongs to learn EDP delivery routes and procedures
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (DDVIR) and document findings accurately
