Job summary

Van Unen Miersma Propane Inc is seeking a seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to safely load, transport, and delivery propane to homes and businesses. You will work with dispatch, perform inspections, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations as needed.

The role requires a Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, ability to lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs, and a strong commitment to safety. Compensation reflects hourly pay with experience and seasonal duties.

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

• You're consistently completing safe, on-time deliveries while following DOT, safety, and company standards.
• Customers recognize you as a reliable point of contact and trust you in their homes and facilities.
• Your truck inspections, paperwork, and electronic reporting are accurate and completed daily.
• You're comfortable participating in the on-call rotation and communicating clearly when schedules change.

What You'll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days

• Complete onboarding, safety training, and ride-alongs to learn EDP delivery routes and procedures
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (DDVIR) and document findings accurately
• Begin independent deliveries with support from dispatch and service teams
• Learn how we communicate with customers, handle after-hours calls, and learn to handle service needs appropriately

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance or equipment needs promptly
• Provide professional, courteous service at every customer location
• Work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals
• Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require

Must Have

Nice to Have

• Comfort using basic computer systems for logging, inspections, and documentation
• Experience working directly with residential or commercial customers
• Familiarity with DOT inspections and compliance standards

Pay

Pay: $27+ per hour (based on experience)
