Job summary

Atlanta Hawks is seeking a Prop Master to support the live game presentation at home games. You will manage props, prizes, and special effects, leading the game operations team to ensure peak on-court experiences.

Responsibilities include setting up effects, coordinating rehearsals, and handling promotional items while collaborating with performance staff and entertainment teams. A flexible schedule across Hawks home games is required.

Qualifications

• Professional prop experience in sports or live entertainment.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays (Hawks home games).
• Excellent people skills and ability to interact professionally with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain game presentation inventory and storage of props, prizes, and related items.
• Set up props, effects, and game operations needs before gameday rehearsals.
• Lead cryogenic and pyrotechnic effects setup and execution.
• Prepare and instruct on use of t-shirt guns, CO2, and specialized equipment.
• Oversee game-day production of streamers, lighting, and effects.
• Coordinate rehearsals for on-court activations and performances.
• Liaise with National Anthem, halftime performers, and groups from arrival to departure.
• Prepare promotional items for game days.
