Job summary

Downstream Casino Resort in Oklahoma seeks an experienced Promotions Manager to lead daily casino promotions, drawings, tournaments, kiosks, and giveaways. You will ensure promotions comply with rules and Gaming Commission requirements and supervise staff across events.

The role requires 3+ years in promotions/events, supervisory experience, and strong customer service with precise attention to detail. Must obtain gaming license and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Marketing or commensurate experience required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience working promotions/events preferred.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Scheduling flexibility and dependability required.
Excellent quantifiable customer service skills and dependability required.
Must be able to type minimum of 40 words per minute.
Ability to operate a personal computer and analyze data.
Must possess excellent communicate skills.
Ability to write and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
Must be able to read, write speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day execution of all casino promotions, drawings, tournaments, kiosks, giveaways, and special events.
Ensure promotions are conducted accurately, consistently, and in accordance with approved rules, Internal Controls, and Gaming Commission requirements.
Coordinate all operational aspects of promotional events before, during, and after execution.
Verify promotional setups, prize inventory, kiosks, signage, promotional materials, and equipment are prepared prior to each event.
Monitor promotions in real time and resolve operational issues while maintaining a positive guest experience.
Conduct promotional drawings and prize distributions while ensuring proper documentation and audit controls.
Maintain promotional calendars, event checklists, and operational timelines.
Train Promotions Representatives on promotional procedures, customer service standards, kiosk operations, loyalty program functionality, and gaming compliance.
Educate employees from other departments on promotional mechanics and operational changes.
Assist guests with understanding promotional rules, kiosk functionality, mobile promotions, offers, drawings, and loyalty program benefits.
Develop training materials, quick-reference guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct refresher training to ensure consistency across all promotions.
Maintain accurate promotional records and documentation for auditing purposes.
Ensure promotional prize distributions comply with Gaming Commission regulations and Internal Controls.
Identify operational risks and recommend process improvements.
Serve as the operational liaison between Marketing and other casino departments.
Participate in pre-event planning meetings and post-event evaluations.
Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Resolve guest concerns related to promotions, drawings, kiosks, and loyalty accounts.
Create a fun, engaging, and welcoming promotional atmosphere.
Evaluate promotional effectiveness and recommend operational improvements.
Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve the guest experience.
Assist Marketing with testing and implementing new promotional technologies and systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
