Job summary

Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. in Reno, NV, is seeking a Promotions Manager to enhance audience profiles for KTVN’s local news, programming, and community events through broadcast and digital/promo channels.

You will write, shoot, produce and edit promotions, lead promotion strategy, coordinate with News, Sales and Production, and represent the station in the market with audience and vendor partnerships; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and two years’ experience in broadcasting or digital marketing are

Qualifications

• Excellent broadcast and digital promotion writing and producing skills.
• Advanced in-field and studio shooting and editing (Adobe Production Suite).
• Strong editing and graphics software knowledge with template creation ability.
• Two years’ experience in broadcasting and/or digital marketing, preferably in TV promotions.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and/or write, shoot, produce and edit advertising and promotions for KTVN's programs and digital platforms.
• Represent KTVN in the marketplace through talent appearances and community events.
• Coordinate promotion objectives with News, Sales and Production departments.
• Manage promotion strategy and lead staff while meeting deadlines.
