Caesars Entertainment’s Horseshoe St. Louis is seeking a Promotions Manager to lead the development, management, integration, and execution of all promotional programs and events at the property. You will oversee staff, budgets, and vendor relationships to drive guest engagement and revenue growth.
The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to coordinate across departments to deliver high-profile campaigns and exceptional guest experiences in a casino environment.

The incumbent in this position is responsible for the effective development, management, integration, and execution of all Promotions and Special Events at Horseshoe St. Louis Casino, including but not limited to cash and merchandise giveaways, tournaments, highend events, and gift programs designed to develop and cultivate new and existing slot and table games players.
1. Staff, schedule, evaluate, train, develop and monitor subordinate personnel. Recommend wage increases, promotions, demotions, discipline and other employment actions for subordinate personnel.
2. Understand department objectives, standards, guidelines and budget to achieve effective management of department.
3. Develop, plan and execute all promotional programs and special events for Horseshoe.
4. Prepares pro-formas on promotions and events to determine worthiness. Monitors financial figures for future promotions.
5. Performs post analysis of efficiency and profitability of all promotional programs and special events.
6. Hosts guests and accommodate their needs within program guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction and encourage return visits.
7. Communicates goals and needs in order to facilitate planning for property’s promotional programs.
8. Complies with MGC and property’s standards, guidelines, and objectives and maintains administrative processes to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of department functions.
9. Meets and communicates with other departments to facilitate planning for fulfilling their casino promotion and special event needs such as F&B, Décor, Construction, Direct Mail, Cash giveaways, negotiating vendor contracts, securing high-level prize insurance, MGC regulations, etc.
10. Researches, contacts and arranges for vendors to execute special needs. Oversees all outside vendors in the execution of agreed-upon contracts.
11. Communicates all promotions to the surrounding St. Louis market by closely working with Database Marketing and Advertising departments.
12. Determines equipment necessary for activities to ensure the timely procurement of necessary parts and that par inventory is maintained; coordinates the upkeep and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper operation.
14. Effectively plans, organizes and prioritizes a heavy workload with competing priorities.
15. Maintains a level of professionalism that will make guests want to return to Horseshoe.
16. Anticipates the guest’s needs and responds appropriately with a sense of urgency.
17. Actively works as a good will ambassador of Horseshoe.
18. Effectively communicates with management in order to fulfill and address any issues.
19. Assist the marketing staff with the execution of marketing programs.
20. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Customer service and stage presence skills and stage presence
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising or Public Relations or related discipline and a minimum of three years experience in promotions preferably within a casino environment or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
