Job summary

FirstCall Group seeks an experienced Projects Operations Manager to own end-to-end project delivery at the Boston branch. You will manage gross margin, run the WIP and job-cost reviews, and lead the project management team, ensuring every job has a defensible cost and clear ownership.

The role reports to the Branch President and collaborates with estimating, service operations, and finance to drive margin and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial mechanical, HVAC, or building‑systems project delivery with leadership responsibility.
• Direct experience leading a project management team and managing a book of projects and gross margin.
• Fluent in job cost, WIP, percentage of completion and EAC; able to explain margin movement.

Responsibilities

• Own the project book—revenue, gross margin, and WIP for all work at the branch.
• Own the estimate‑to‑execution handoff with a fully loaded labor cost behind every job.
• Run monthly job cost and WIP reviews; ensure accurate EAC and cost-to-complete.
