Job summary

Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, LLC in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking an I&C engineer/tech to develop detailed design packages and provide field support for process measurement and control systems.

Responsibilities include creating control narratives, P&IDs, instrument datasheets, and circuit diagrams for both batch and continuous processes using traditional analog instrumentation and PLC/HMI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• MS or PhD in Engineering/Physical Science acceptable.
• Two or more years of instrumentation and controls design engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality detailed design packages and provide field technical support.
• Create control system narratives, P&IDs, and instrument datasheets.
• Develop industrial control panel drawings and wiring/connection schematics.
• Support troubleshooting and technical assessments of plant systems.
