Job summary

Dartmouth College is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage the turnover of capital projects from project management to facilities operations. The role emphasizes developing turnover guidelines, documenting assets, and ensuring quality through work orders and training.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and the Facilities Customer Service Center, plus ensuring consistent asset documentation and integration into the work order

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, facilities management, or a similar field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to qualify as a Dartmouth Approved Driver.
• 10 years of facilities management experience with a trades or operations background.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project turnover guidelines and checklists.
• Develop and maintain a master schedule for project turnover activities, including commissioning, training, and asset entry.
• Support project managers by ensuring completion of punch lists and overseeing turnover sign-off process.
• Perform quality assurance checks on selected project items, ensuring adherence to design standards and installation requirements.
• Engage in warranty analysis and follow-up coordination with appropriate parties.
