The position is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, with a strong emphasis on coordinating survey workloads, preparing legal descriptions, and managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant land surveying experience; project experience in land development is essential.
  • LSIT is required and holding a PLS is preferred.
  • Experience with ESRI GIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; knowledge of boundary and legal principles is important.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule survey projects and monitor completion.
  • Instruct survey crews for field work needed.
  • Prepare and review drawings using Civil 3D and related software.
  • Interpret field notes and sketches; perform computations for surveys and plats.
  • Use AutoCAD to produce ALTA/NSPS surveys and other survey documents.
  • Prepare and review legal descriptions and exhibits for parcels and easements.
  • Compile land title information from title reports and records.
  • Generate topographic surveys and process GPS data when applicable.
