Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Jr. Project Specialist to support MCE Launch Standards for new vehicle launches across the full launch cycle. The role interfaces with Corporate Planning, Production Management, Vehicle Process Engineering, and Product Engineering to ensure on‑time, on‑budget launches.

Initial assignment is Toledo, OH with a path to Auburn Hills, MI reporting to Corporate HQ. You’ll coordinate cross‑functional teams, track schedules and budgets, and drive issue resolution through

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3 or more years of automotive experience.
  • Program management experience / training.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Excellent problem‑solving/analytical skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interface with all levels of management and labor.
  • Highly motivated self‑starter and change agent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred).
  • Master’s degree (preferred).
  • Knowledge of MEDDs, PentaSap, PFS, FIS, Manufacturing Portal and MCE Global Portal (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross‑functional team to successfully launch a new vehicle on time within budget.
  • Create & track resource plans / WBS / master plan.
  • Track status to budget.
  • Lead steering committee & escalate issues accordingly.
  • Develop pilot schedules. Track plan vs. actual with daily pilot meetings and reports.
  • Manage KPI / KAIs & PDP timing & escalate risks.
  • IH review preparation / execution.
  • Coordinate and lead workshops to resolve major issues.
  • Lead issue resolution meetings with stakeholders and elevate priority concerns.
  • Work closely with team leads, quality, and engineering to ensure objectives are met at the station and plant levels.
  • Build relationships with engineering and manufacturing to comprehend the new product requirements and sequence of build.
  • Develop and improve work methods.
  • Work with functional managers and operation managers to improve productivity, quality, and output.
  • Support Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) as it relates to launch domain and WPI.

Job description

The Jr. Project Specialist is responsible for support of MCE Launch Standards for new model launches during the entire launch process. The position will interact with Corporate Planning, Production Management, Vehicle Process Engineering, and Product Engineering on all matters relating to Project Launch activities.

Current assignment will be based out of Toledo, OH with reporting structure to Corporate Headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI upon project completion.
