Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Project Supervisor to lead janitorial projects across multiple sites within Michigan, ensuring safety and timely execution. You will coordinate crews, manage supplies, and uphold standards to deliver clean, welcoming spaces for clients.

Starting pay is $22.11 per hour with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) matching, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of janitorial/building maintenance procedures and safety requirements.
• Tool and machine maintenance basics.
• Ability to meet general customer expectations.
• Effective verbal and written communication with time management.
• Ability to lead a team in a complex, task-oriented janitorial operations environment.
• Ability to provide timely facilities escalations resolution.
• Basic report/documentation and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Leads crew and performs janitorial project work at multiple locations within a defined geographic area.
• May support staffing coordination including communicating schedules.
• Floor surfaces and carpet cleaning; Carpet extractions; Wash windows.
• Minor wall repair; Gather and empty trash; Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; Clean windows and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; Move furniture and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures for chemicals and power equipment; Monitor building security.
