Job summary

DePelchin Children's Center in San Antonio, TX seeks a Project Supervisor to lead non-clinical family assessments, crisis intervention, and volunteer recruitment. You will help design services and implement responsive programs with limited resources, reporting to the Project Coordinator.

The role emphasizes collaboration with community partners and grant funders, requiring strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and sound judgment to manage operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Must obtain required certifications within the first year of employment.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with caregivers of children, parents or families.
• Minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
• Masters degree in Social Work preferred.

Responsibilities

Location: San Antonio, TX (South Side)

Position Description:

The Project Supervisor will provide non-clinical family assessments, crisis intervention, family and volunteer recruitment, screening, training, and design and implementation of services with limited resources. The Project Supervisor will also develop a service delivery system that meets the changing needs of community partners and grant funders. This position is accountable to the Project Coordinator or Director, Clinical Services for overall administrative management and operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Social Work or human services related field required.
• Must be certified in required curriculums or be able to attain such certification within the first year of employment. Employment is contingent on acquisition of minimal certification/licensure.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with caregivers of children, parents or families.
• Minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work or human services related field.
