Job summary

The Project Supervisor at DePelchin Children's Center will lead non-clinical family assessments, crisis intervention, and recruitment of families and volunteers in San Antonio. This role focuses on developing and implementing services that adapt to changing community needs and grant requirements.

They will coordinate with the Project Coordinator or Director, Clinical Services for overall administrative management and operation, ensuring programs run efficiently in a resource-limited environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Certification within first year or ability to attain licensure.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with caregivers/ families.
• Minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.

Position Description

The Project Supervisor will provide non-clinical family assessments, crisis intervention, family and volunteer recruitment, screening, training, and design and implementation of services with limited resources. The Project Supervisor will also develop a service delivery system that meets the changing needs of community partners and grant funders. This position is accountable to the Project Coordinator or Director, Clinical Services for overall administrative management and operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Social Work or human services related field required.
• Must be certified in required curriculums or be able to attain such certification within the first year of employment. Employment is contingent on acquisition of minimal certification/licensure.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with caregivers of children, parents or families.
• Minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work or human services related field.
