Job summary

Environmental Air Systems seeks a Project Superintendent for its Rural Hall, NC manufacturing team. You will supervise 20–30 employees on the production floor, directing manufacturing of HVAC structural frames and ensuring timely, efficient output.

Lead safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will read blueprints, coordinate with teams, and drive lean principles to meet schedules while staying within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervision experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing process flow, bottlenecks, and constraints.
• Knowledge of welding, structural steel processes, and pipe installation is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on approach; 90% time on production floor.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety, quality, and housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide coaching as needed.
• Provide constructive feedback and performance guidance.
• Maintain time records and production reports daily.
• Adhere to manufacturing build schedules and lean principles to increase output.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues to implement permanent solutions.

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Project Superintendent to join our manufacturing team in Rural Hall, North Carolina. In this role you will supervise a team of 20 to 30 employees at our manufacturing plant.The Project Superintendent directs the manufacturing of the department, assuring timely and efficient production HVAC structural frames. Additionally, the Project Superintendent will foster a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.
