Job summary
Mortenson Construction is seeking a Superintendent I to coordinate, plan and supervise assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities. The role emphasizes developing strong customer relationships through excellent service.

Qualifications
- Degree or 10 years trade experience in construction management.
- Minimum 5 years construction management or related experience.
- Ability to travel up to 100%.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement to support the project schedule with materials and inspections.
- Review documents for completeness and constructability.
- Coordinate plans with design engineers and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and manage project schedules including look-ahead planning.
- Lead site logistics and utilize Mortenson tools and equipment.
- Supervise craft teams and mentor junior staff.
- Ensure safety, quality, risk and compliance on the project.
