Job summary

Vallencourt Construction Co., Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead site development and underground utilities across the GA/SC region, including Pooler, GA.

The successful candidate will oversee field operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, read plans, and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while upholding OSHA safety standards. This role requires strong leadership and clear communication with Project Managers, owners, inspectors, and vendors,

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on site development projects.
• Strong knowledge of underground utilities, earthwork, grading, erosion control, and general site utilities.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (regional travel required).
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily field operations for site development and underground utilities projects
• Manage and coordinate crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite (OSHA compliance)
• Track daily production, material usage, and equipment needs
• Maintain project documentation: logs, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and reports
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, owners, and inspectors
• Ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications
• Anticipate issues and coordinate solutions to keep projects on schedule

Location: Georgia / South Carolina border south to Glynn County, GA (regional travel required)

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead site development projects across our service region (from the GA/SC border down to Glynn County, GA). The Superintendent will oversee field operations, coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and on budget.
