Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience.
• 3+ years leading field operations as a Superintendent or equivalent.
• OSHA 30 Certification is required.
• Procore and Bluebeam experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations and site coordination.
• Direct subcontractors and manage daily construction activities.
• Develop and manage three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Lead daily subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Monitor progress, milestones, manpower, logistics, and sequencing.
• Identify schedule risks and implement recovery strategies.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, materials, equipment, and deliveries.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals.
• Maintain project documentation and progress reports.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and foremen.

A bit about us:

An established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations on larger, more complex commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and overall project execution. This is an opportunity for a Superintendent who wants to take ownership of major projects, mentor developing field staff, and become a key leader within a growing construction operation. Healthcare construction experience is highly desirable, along with experience in commercial, institutional, industrial, or renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations and overall site coordination
• Direct subcontractors and manage daily construction activities
• Develop and manage three-week look-ahead schedules
• Lead daily subcontractor coordination meetings
• Monitor progress, milestones, manpower, logistics, and project sequencing
• Identify schedule risks and implement recovery strategies
• Coordinate inspections, testing, materials, equipment, and deliveries
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and contract documents
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, safety reports, and progress reports
• Manage quality control, punch lists, and project closeout
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Executives, architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, and less-experienced field personnel

Job Details

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience
• 3+ years leading field operations as a Superintendent or equivalent
• Experience managing larger or more complex commercial projects preferred
• Strong commercial construction means, methods, sequencing, and building systems knowledge
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and project phases
• Healthcare, institutional, industrial, or renovation experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules
• OSHA 30 Certification required
• First Aid/CPR preferred
• Procore and Bluebeam experience preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency required
