Job summary

Centurion Selection is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the ground-up construction of a 400-unit, three-story garden-style multifamily development in Phoenix, Arizona. This role will drive on-site execution from ground break to turnover, coordinating with subcontractors, architects, engineers and the ownership team.

The ideal candidate has significant experience delivering large ground-up multifamily projects for a General Contractor, with a preference for garden-style, wood-frame

Qualifications

• Current or recent experience as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent or Lead Superintendent.
• Significant ground-up multifamily experience with garden-style, wood-frame construction preferred.
• Strong scheduling, field leadership and subcontractor-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for a 400-unit ground-up multifamily project.
• Manage subcontractors, field personnel and daily site operations.
• Maintain and drive the construction schedule.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, ownership team, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
• Oversee sitework, foundations, vertical construction, MEP rough-in, interiors, punch and turnover.
• Maintain project safety and quality standards.
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and coordinate short-term look-ahead schedules.
• Manage inspections, sequencing and resolution of field issues.
• Ensure buildings and units are completed in accordance with plans, specifications and schedule.
• Lead the project through completion and final turnover.

About the Role

Superintendent – Ground-Up Multifamily

• Location: Phoenix, Arizona
• Project: 400-Unit, 3-Story Garden-Style Multifamily Development

The Superintendent will have overall field responsibility for the project, managing subcontractors, scheduling, safety, quality, inspections and day-to-day site operations from early construction through turnover. The ideal candidate will have significant experience delivering large ground-up multifamily projects for a General Contractor, particularly garden-style, wood-frame apartment communities.
