Description of Work:
Perform financial management activities for gifts, grants, and contracts received by UNL. Advise and train staff on compliance issues. Process and close awards. Prepare and sign financial reports and serve as a Sponsored Programs office liaison to funding sources.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field and two (2) years of experience in an accounting, educational or governmental office setting, including experience with administration of grants/contracts; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience with word processing, database, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Experience with accountancy. Demonstrated ability to stay on top of project tasks appropriately throughout project timeline. Knowledge of applicable rules and regulations – Uniform Guidance, FAR clauses, and CFR. Knowledge of federal agency-specific rules and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and experience in a university or state grants setting. Microsoft Office products, SAP and UNL warehouse. CRA and/or CGFM certification.
Posted Salary: $24.106 /hr minimum
