The City of Springfield (MO) is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator who will guide affordable housing projects from design and permitting through construction and final inspection. You will ensure HUD-funded housing meets safety standards and works with developers, loan officers, and inspectors to resolve issues.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field and at least two years of related experience.
The person in this position directly impacts the development and creation of affordable housing from the early design and permit phase through construction, and inspection. Also, using specialized inspection training provided by the City, ensures that the housing funded with Federal funds is safe for the families. They work directly with developers, loan officer supervisor, and vendors as necessary, as well as inspection personnel.
