Job summary

Pike Electric Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accounting Specialist to manage data entry and maintain the control environment for project data. You will work closely with Project Accounting and Operations to improve setup accuracy and processing timeliness, with high visibility to management and project leaders.

• Bill rate schedule reconciliation
• Allocation rate maintenance
• Maintenance of weekly Accounting routines and processes
• Import/Export project data using excel templates
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

SUMMARY

Maintain all aspects of project data entry and its associated control environment for Pike Electric Corporation and its subsidiaries. Work closely with Project Accounting and Operations to enhance setup accuracy and processing timeliness. The position offers high visibility and interaction with management, Directors of Contract Administration, and Project Managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Accounting Setup/Administration including, but not limited to:

• Daily processing of Jobs and Contracts into the Oracle Project environment
• Customer maintenance in AR module
• New project/work order setup and maintenance
• Contract Administrator requested contract rate adjustments
• Bill rate schedule reconciliation
• Allocation rate maintenance
• Maintenance of weekly Accounting routines and processes
• Import/Export project data using excel templates
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
