About the Opportunity

Are you good at spinning plates? It’s not something you see very often on TV these days, but figuratively, it is a very useful skill, one of which is vital if your goal is to keep nuclear power stations operating safely, contributing to the UK’s Net Zero carbon target, or to help prepare them for decommissioning.

The UK’s five operating stations deliver 16% of the UK’s power, and it takes a large team delivering 100’s of projects to enable these stations to continue generating as well as defuel the three stations that have ceased operation - and that’s a lot of plates.

If you’re familiar with Framework Services, you’ll know that they have plenty of moving parts and complexity, which is why you’ll be working alongside our Subject Matter Experts, Operations Managers as a key part of our Framework Service team.

Centre to the success of the role will be your people skills, building effective relationships and interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders in multiple locations. You’ll also work closely with colleagues to support activities that offer the best service to the client. Through your interactions, you’ll be able to gather useful intelligence on client needs and work with the team to deliver innovative solutions.

You’ll utilise your strong communication and engagement skills to achieve client, people and business outcomes, working with your team and peers that are based in different locations across the UK.

Amentum are recruiting for a PMR Project Services Coordinator to join our Energy Engineering and Technical Services team supporting our projects across the UK.

  • The position is accountable to the Finance Assurance Lead and are responsible to support all aspects of Framework Services in accordance with Amentum requirements and Standards.
  • The key element of this role will be responsible for tracking and managing role approvals and contract instructions for the Framework team and will monitor, control and forecast the utilisation against contract instructions. This role has no direct reports.
  • The role can be based at any of our UK Amentum Offices and may require from time to time, business travel to UK sites/stations. Flexible working arrangements between office and home may be possible.
  • Everyone working in our team will have a proven track record of working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards and culture.
  • Good communication and organisational skills are a must with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks and be results-focused with a team-centred approach.

Here's What You'll Need

  • Understand the inter-relationship between time, cost and commercial aspects of the project life cycle.
  • The ability to reconcile contract information as it applies to the activities of work.
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels of management, produce monthly reports, to an agreed reporting cycle, to provision of intelligent information.
  • Experienced to challenge as necessary to ensure compatibility and compliance.
