Job summary

Ultipro in the Denver area is seeking a Project Scheduler to support project managers and controls specialists. The role focuses on developing monthly and quarterly schedules, updating weekly schedules, creating look-ahead schedules, and performing critical path analyses.

You will coordinate with Estimating and Project Management to align schedules with contract requirements, attend owner meetings, and help generate reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Project Management.
• 2+ years of scheduling experience from a Solar EPC.
• Experience in Primavera P6 (strongly preferred) or MS Project.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.

Job description

We are seeking a Project Scheduler to work in our office in the Denver area. Our office is located 15 minutes from the Denver airport.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist project managers and project controls specialists in development of all required monthly and quarterly scheduling reports for their assigned projects. These reports include but aren't limited to: weekly schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, critical path analysis, schedule impact analysis, earned value analysis, S-curves creation and analysis, resource reporting and writing schedule narrative when requested.
• Complete all deliverables and meet deadlines within assigned projects.
• Create new proposal and project schedules in the system.
• Work with Estimating and Project Management teams to understand schedule contract requirements and coordinate the project team input to schedule.
• Attend any weekly and monthly owner meetings with the PM as needed.
• Assist PM’s, Directors, VP’s, and PCM with special reports, requests, analysis, subcontractor/EPC daily, weekly, monthly reports to ensure data accuracy, and other Site Manager miscellaneous day to day activities.
• Implement PRE’s schedule controls processes and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• A four (4) year degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Project Management.
• 2+ years of scheduling experience from a Solar EPC.
• Experience in P6 (strongly preferred) or MS Project.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Office.

PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of CPM Scheduling practices.
• Ability to read and understand prints and contracts.
• Self-disciplined, motivated, working with limited direct supervision, self-sufficient problem solver.
• Strong attention to detail along with constant process improvement vigilance required.
• Must be able to meet all deadlines.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Benefits and Pay:

• Salary range $100,000 - $120,000 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies. This salary range is subject to change
