Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy in Colorado is seeking a junior to mid-level Scheduler to assist project managers and project controls in developing monthly and quarterly schedules for assigned projects, including weekly updates, look-ahead schedules, and critical path analyses.

You will create new project schedules, coordinate inputs, attend owner meetings, and help generate special reports to ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications

• A four (4) year degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Project Management.
• 0-2 years of cost or scheduling experience with a preference given for experience in Solar, Renewable Energy, or Power Generation.
• Scheduling specific training or certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create new project schedules in the system and maintain history of schedule development and changes.
• Coordinate input from Estimating and Project Management teams and attend weekly/monthly owner meetings.
• Attend Plan of the Day and Daily Managers meetings to gather information for project controls and improve processes.

Job Overview:PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist project managers and project controls specialists in development of all required monthly and quarterly scheduling reports for their assigned projects. These reports include but aren't limited to: weekly schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, critical path analysis, schedule impact analysis, earned value analysis, S-curves creation and analysis, resource reporting and writing schedule narrative when requested.Complete all deliverables and meet deadlines within assigned projects.Maintain accurate history of schedule development and changes.Create new project schedules in the system.Work with Estimating and Project Management teams to understand schedule contract requirements.Coordinate the project team input into the schedule.Attend any weekly and monthly owner meetings with the PM as needed.Assist PM’s, Directors, VP’s, and PCM with special reports, requests, analysis, subcontractor/EPC daily, weekly, monthly reports to ensure data accuracy, and other Site Manager miscellaneous day to day activities.Attend and participate in the Plan of the Day (POD) and Daily Managers meeting to obtain all information related to project controls.Create, evaluate, and improve all schedule controls processes and procedures within the guidelines of PSC.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:· A four (4) year degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Project Management.· 0-2 years of cost or scheduling experience with a preference given for experience in Solar, Renewable Energy, or Power Generation.· Scheduling specific training or certificate desirable.PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Oracle Primavera P6 and MS Project.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Solid understanding of CPM Scheduling practices.Ability to read and understand prints and contracts.Self-disciplined, motivated, working with limited direct supervision, self-sufficient problem solver.Strong attention to detail along with constant process improvement vigilance required.Must be able to meet all deadlines.Ability to travel as needed.Benefits and Pay:Paid Company HolidaysPaid Time OffWe provide paid sick leave as required by Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Short Term/Long Term Disability, 401K with matching contribution.Salary $90,000 - $115,000 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.Company Overview:Primoris Renewable Energy, a business within Primoris Services Corporation’s Energy segment, is a leading power generation engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) provider specializing in utility and commercial scale solar power, energy storage, solar repower, and operations and maintenance.
