Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support solar EPC programs in Colorado. The role supports project managers and controls specialists in delivering monthly and quarterly scheduling reports, including look-ahead schedules and critical path analyses.

You will create new project schedules, coordinate input with Estimating and PM teams, attend owner meetings, and help implement schedule controls. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Project Management.
  • 2+ years of scheduling experience from a Solar EPC.
  • Experience in P6 (strongly preferred) or MS Project.
  • Scheduling specific training or certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers and project controls specialists in development of monthly and quarterly scheduling reports.
  • Create weekly schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, critical path analysis, schedule impact analysis, and earned value analysis.
  • Prepare S-curves and resource reporting; write schedule narratives as requested.
  • Attend weekly and monthly owner meetings with the PM as needed.
  • Implement PRE’s schedule controls processes and procedures.

Job Overview:PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist project managers and project controls specialists in development of all required monthly and quarterly scheduling reports for their assigned projects. These reports include but aren't limited to: weekly schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, critical path analysis, schedule impact analysis, earned value analysis, S-curves creation and analysis, resource reporting and writing schedule narrative when requested.Complete all deliverables and meet deadlines within assigned projects.Create new proposal and project schedules in the system.Work with Estimating and Project Management teams to understand schedule contract requirements and coordinate the project team input to schedule.Attend any weekly and monthly owner meetings with the PM as needed.Assist PM’s, Directors, VP’s, and PCM with special reports, requests, analysis, subcontractor/EPC daily, weekly, monthly reports to ensure data accuracy, and other Site Manager miscellaneous day to day activities.Implement PRE’s schedule controls processes and procedures.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:A four (4) year degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Project Management.2+ years of scheduling experience from a Solar EPC.Experience in P6 (strongly preferred) or MS Project.Scheduling specific training or certificate desirable.Proficient in Excel, MS Office.PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Solid understanding of CPM Scheduling practices.Ability to read and understand prints and contracts.Self-disciplined, motivated, working with limited direct supervision, self-sufficient problem solver.Strong attention to detail along with constant process improvement vigilance required.Must be able to meet all deadlines.Ability to travel as needed.Benefits and Pay:Salary range $110,000 - $130,000 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.
