Job summary

Actalent is seeking a contract-based Project Scheduler in Des Moines, IA, to collaborate with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders from planning through completion.

You will develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, track progress, identify risks, and conduct site visits to improve sequencing and delivery. This onsite role requires strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling, construction sequencing, and project controls.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Partner with project teams to track progress, identify risks, and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate project status and improve construction sequencing.
• Prepare schedule updates, forecasts, and progress reports for project leadership.
• Support Pull Planning, Lean construction initiatives, and project pursuit activities.
• Collaborate with operations, project controls, and business development teams to support successful project delivery.
