Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Project Scheduler/Planner in Juno Beach, FL to support the Engineering and Construction division. The role focuses on Primavera P6 scheduling across wind, solar, storage and transmission projects.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of scheduling experience, or 4+ years in project management. Onsite preferred with some remote consideration, full-time, 12-month contract.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare monthly reports comparing baseline vs progress with critical path, resources and costs.
• Gather scope and constraints from project participants for the plan.
• Lead Schedule Review Meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary reviews.
• Report project status and variances clearly to management.
• Review data from external sources and validate information.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Schedule: Full-time, Eastern Time business hours
Duration: 12-month W2 contract
Pay Rate: $26.00 - $30.00/hr

Position Summary

Our client, a major energy utility, is seeking a Project Scheduler/Planner to join the Scheduling & Planning group within its Engineering and Construction Division in Juno Beach, FL. This person will support the Power Delivery scope of work, partnering with Project Originators, Developers, Engineers, Early Stage Managers and Construction Managers across the development, engineering and construction of a wide range of energy projects, including wind, solar, energy storage, transmission lines, substations, pipelines and combined cycle plants. Working from the Juno Beach office is preferred, though remote work will be considered depending on the candidate. Reporting to the group Manager, you will be exposed to multiple teams and play a key part in driving project success across the full project life cycle.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6
• Prepare monthly reports for construction projects comparing the approved baseline schedule against the progress schedule, covering critical path method, resource loading, cost loading, manpower, submittals, impact projections and recovery plans
• Work with all project participants to gather scope, logistics and constraints for inclusion in the plan and schedule
• Lead Schedule Review Meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary meetings to keep resources focused on the right project activities
• Report project status and variances to management clearly and concisely
• Review and validate information from external sources
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or a related field
• 3+ years of scheduling experience preferred
• Alternatively, 4+ years of Project Management experience will be considered, including tracking project plans against schedule baselines and performing ad-hoc analyses
