Job summary

Doocey Group is seeking a Project Planner to develop and manage programme schedules across civil engineering projects based in Tipton and beyond. You will ensure timely updates, milestones and lookahead planning support for project teams, subcontractors and client reporting.

The role requires strong MSP/P6 proficiency, excellent communication, and proactive risk management to support cost and schedule integration with commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Must be highly trained in MSP and P6 Primavera.
• Knowledge of NEC3/4 and FIDIC would be advantageous.
• Experience in delivering programmes in civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and report on project programmes.
• Update lookahead schedules (1–4 weeks) and weekly progress.
• Chair site planning meetings and communicate milestones.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and procurement for inputs.
• Maintain schedule logic in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Analyze earned value metrics and report performance (SPI, CPI).
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with narratives.
