Job summary

Procon is seeking a Project Scheduler to lead complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and perform thorough schedule analyses. You will interface with stakeholders across programs, evaluate TIAs and COs, and drive look-ahead planning.

This role requires strong CPM expertise and a track record with federal or GC projects. The position offers onsite work in DC area, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Primavera P6 with CPM scheduling.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction scheduling with CPM.
  • Deep understanding of federal government and general contractor construction processes.
  • Experience supporting vertical construction, utility, and infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and TIAs/COs analyses.
  • Strong verbal and written communication for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Preferred: certifications in scheduling.
  • Expert MSP and Primavera (P6); other scheduling software like SV, SmartPM, Primavera risk are a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) with look-ahead planning and what-if scenario modeling.
  • Evaluate construction schedules for compliance, performance, and risk, including TIAs and COs analyses.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align scopes of work across concurrent projects.
  • Deliver timely reporting by synthesizing data from various sources and communicating scheduling impacts to stakeholders.
  • Participate in design reviews, procurement strategy sessions, and coordination meetings to understand project dynamics.
  • Provide onsite support when needed, with travel and potential to work from alternate project offices.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
  • Expertise in Primavera P6 with demonstrated proficiency in building and analyzing Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction scheduling, with a strong track record in CPM methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of federal government and general contractor construction processes, including contracts, design documents, and specifications.
  • Experience supporting vertical construction, utility, and infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with large-scale and complex scheduling environments, including development and assessment of Integrated Master Schedules and detailed analysis of TIAs and COs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred but not required: certifications in scheduling.
  • Expert level (MSP) and Primavera (P6) experience. Other scheduling software like SV, Smart PM, Primavera risk are a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite.

  • Participate proactively in project lifecycle activities—such as design reviews, procurement strategy sessions, and coordination meetings to maintain a deep understanding of project and program dynamics.
  • Provide onsite support when needed, with occasional travel and the potential to work from alternate project offices in the future.
