Job summary

PMA Consultants seeks a Project Scheduler to manage medium to large project schedules, with hands-on experience in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project and a solid understanding of the full project lifecycle.

The role involves developing and maintaining schedules for multiple projects, tracking progress against baselines, and presenting status reports to internal and client stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in scheduling are required. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on scheduling and controls in construction/engineering; pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; NetPoint experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing schedules from general contractors.
  • Understanding of construction lifecycles and design/build delivery methods.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training may be substituted for the stated minimum qualifications.

  • Ensure compliance with scheduling best practices and delivery method standards, including design/build projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction professionals to gather schedule data and status updates.
  • Attend and participate in project meetings and site visits to validate schedule accuracy and progress.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Project Scheduler independently manages medium to large and complex project schedules, and provides advanced analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support both internal stakeholders and client teams. This role requires hands‑on experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project and understanding of the full project lifecycle.

Additional Requirements

Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.

Cognitive: Problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.

The salary range for this position is $102,409 - $120,330. A hired employee will be placed within this salary range based on a variety of legitimate business reasons, including but not limited to the individual’s scope of relevant experience and geographic location.
