Position Description

Thompson Construction Group is looking for a Project Scheduler with 1-5 years of experience in project scheduling & progress measurement for industrial EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have some project scheduling experience.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain an engineering and construction project schedule using Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Projects in support of construction projects.
2. Develop a baseline project schedule working with client Construction Coordinators, multiple engineering firms, multiple OEM vendors and Subcontractor Project Managers.
3. Maintain schedule throughout the project lifecycle via feedback from the internal project team as well as input from Contractor and Vendor schedules.
4. Identify critical and near-critical paths as well as trends to help the project team stay on track.

Job Qualifications

1. Ability to work under limited supervision
2. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
3. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively support and work well with people from different disciplines
4. Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
5. Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
6. Experience working in a multicultural environment is preferred
7. Must pass a drug screen and background check.
