Job summary

ESPO Corporation in Akron, OH seeks a Project Scheduler for a 12-month contract. You will develop, update, and maintain schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, create WBS, activities, and codes, and maintain resource loaded schedules.

You will generate reports, identify drivers and risks, perform quality checks, and communicate progress with project managers and engineers across transmission & distribution, substations, and telecom projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration from an accredited program.
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel. Valid driver's license required.
• US Citizen or green card holder.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain level 1 to level 2 schedules in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activities, and activity codes.
• Develop and maintain resource loaded schedules.
• Utilize constraints, lags, and leads effectively.
• Generate reports, layouts, and filters in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Identify schedule drivers, delays, and opportunities.
• Quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables.
• Communicate technical progress of project schedules with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders across transmission & distribution lines, substations, and/or telecommunication projects.
• Integrate and analyze schedule data from other sources in Excel via formulas, pivot tables, macros, Power Query, Power BI, etc.
• Identify logic errors, sequencing issues or incorrect durations.
• Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation issues.
• Handle multiple schedules across different projects.
