JOB DESCRIPTION – PROJECT SCHEDULER
Position Summary

Conti Corporation is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the Abernathy Data Center project. This position plays a critical role in maintaining, analyzing, and updating the project schedule to ensure seamless coordination with our general contractor and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has strong scheduling experience using P6 and/or MS Project, excellent analytical skills, and a solid understanding of construction workflows. This role requires regular on‑site presence and close collaboration with project leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Controls
  • Maintain, update, and manage the project schedule within Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Work from an established baseline schedule provided by the GC—focus on updating, revising, and maintaining daily/weekly progress.
  • Monitor schedule progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support the project team with look‑ahead schedules and critical path analysis.
  • Coordinate with field supervisors to gather progress updates and validate activity durations.
  • Assist with reporting, schedule narratives, and periodical schedule submissions.
Project Support
  • Participate in regular project meetings and communicate schedule impacts.
  • Provide updates to project leadership on changes, risks, and upcoming milestones.
  • Work cross‑functionally with engineering, procurement, field teams, and GC counterparts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling tools.
  • Construction scheduling experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and sequencing logic.
  • Strong communication and time‑management abilities.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Abernathy, TX as needed.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
  • OSHA‑10 (preferred; Conti can provide if not held).
  • Experience working on data centers, mission‑critical facilities, or high‑tech commercial construction.
  • 40‑hour work week with flexibility for additional hours to meet critical milestones.
  • Professional, clean jobsite environment (not heavy field/dirty work).
  • Mix of office and limited on‑site field exposure depending on scheduling needs.
  • Option for occasional Lubbock office or remote meetings depending on availability.
