Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Manager, Project Safety to lead safety programs on our projects in Blythe, California. This role focuses on creating an Incident and Injury Free culture and developing a Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will generate weekly safety reports, lead investigations, and support toolbox talks with Production leadership. OSHA 30 certification, 3–5 years of construction safety experience, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) preferred or similar Construction Management, Business, or Engineering.
• OSHA 30 Construction required.
• CPR/FA Certified (Trainer Preferred), along with other safety certifications desired.
• Must be willing to obtain a BCSP CHST certification within 12 months.
• Three to five years of construction safety experience (electrical safety experience preferred).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• The Project Safety Manager supports project teams in developing and sustaining an Incident and Injury Free Culture by developing and maintaining a Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan.
• Lead incident and injury investigations with support from Production leadership.
• Monitor and audit CEI/Subcontractor compliance with applicable standards and project safety requirements.
• Generate weekly Total Case Incident Reports and submit to project leadership.
• Assist the Project Leadership Team in weekly toolbox safety meetings.
