The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to a safe work environment for all team members. Responsibilities include developing safety plans, conducting inspections, leading training, investigating incidents, and maintaining documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of safety experience in heavy civil construction.
• OSHA regulations knowledge and compliance focus.
• Certifications such as CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30 desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific safety plans.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for project personnel.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare reports and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to integrate safety into all project phases.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.
• Act as primary point of contact for all safety-related matters on the site.
