Job description

The Project Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing and delivering comprehensive monthly status reports that provide detailed updates on program progress, risk assessments, financial tracking, and discrepancies. This role ensures seamless communication and transparency between VLinc and Shield AI, aligning reporting efforts with internal processes and contractual requirements. The analyst will collaborate with internal teams and partners to compile data, track key deliverables, and identify potential risks or issues that could impact the program's scope, schedule, or budget.

Program Progress Reporting
  • Track and document project deliverables, milestones, and work completed each month.
  • Identify and report any obstacles or delays, ensuring timely adjustments to program timelines as necessary.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation
  • Provide a detailed risk assessment with each report, highlighting emerging or potential risks to the program.
  • Develop and recommend mitigation strategies to address identified risks and minimize impacts.
Financial Tracking
  • Prepare a financial breakdown, including spending as a percentage of the budget, expenditures to date, and future spending forecasts.
  • Ensure financial data aligns with VLinc and Shield AI's reporting needs and compliance requirements.
Discrepancy Tracking
  • Maintain a discrepancy log detailing issues identified during the project, corrective actions taken, and the resolution status.
  • Categorize tracked changes and updates to support transparency and efficient issue resolution.
Support For Reporting Requirements
  • Compile data and insights in a format compliant with VLinc and Shield AI's internal reporting standards.
  • Provide input for key reporting elements, including technical progress, meeting summaries, and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with VLinc and Shield AI teams to ensure reports are delivered accurately and on time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Program Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in program reporting, project analysis, or a similar role, preferably within government or defense-related programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in risk assessment, financial tracking, and discrepancy management.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools and software, with the ability to adapt to client-specific formats and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes and reporting standards is a plus.
Work Environment and Conditions

This is a hybrid position, with occasional travel to VLinc or Shield AI facilities as needed. The role operates in a fast‑paced environment where collaboration and adaptability are key to ensuring reporting accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
