Job summary

Health & Wellness Partners, LLC (HWP) is seeking a Project Accounting Coordinator to join our Finance & Accounting team in a hybrid role at our Upper Saddle River HQ. You will reconcile project budgets to activity, analyze variances, and ensure audit-ready documentation for a high-volume client project portfolio.

You will collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Business Analysis, and operations to ensure accurate closeout and final billing, tracking open items and due dates through completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in project accounting, billing, revenue operations, or financial reconciliation.
• Knowledge of budgets, revenue recognition, client billing, and unbilled revenue.
• Experience with ERP systems and project-level reporting; NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project-level reconciliations comparing budgets and terms with recorded revenue and costs.
• Identify variances, investigate misclassifications, and coordinate corrections.
• Ensure invoicing and closeout entries align with SOWs and amendments.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable, Finance, and operations to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage a portfolio of projects, track status, owners, and due dates until completion.
• Use ERP reports and workpapers to validate coding and reconciliation procedures.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and exception logs.
• Provide status updates to Finance leadership and support process improvements.
