Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I on the owner or EPC side of capital projects. You will support the project quality program by surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities, reviewing quality documentation, tracking audit findings to closure, and reporting quality status to the project quality lead.

You bring a background as an inspector or QC engineer who wants to write the quality requirements rather than just enforce them, with strong written

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
