Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality programs on capital projects, surveilling contractor and supplier quality, reviewing documentation, and reporting status to the project quality lead.

This role combines fieldwork with documentation, requires 3+ years in QC on construction or industrial projects, and knowledge of ISO 9001. Certifications such as ICC/NICET/CWI/CIP are a strong plus; travel to active sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
