Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance and audit programs, and qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors, ensuring the quality record will stand at turnover.

You will report quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization and lead nonconformance and corrective-action processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• Ability to write contractor quality requirements and enforce them.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor and supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
