Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's or EPC side. You write the project quality plan, set the surveillance and audit program for contractors and suppliers, and qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors.

You will report quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization. The role requires 6+ years in quality on construction projects and ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes; report quality metrics and risks.
