Job description

Do you want to own quality convergence at every vehicle program milestone? We're looking for a self-starter who can drive Software (SWE) and Hardware (EHE) teams to be milestone-ready, not scrambling at the gate.

The Project Quality Leader owns the Milestone Assessment Convergence Process: the demonstrated evidence-based adherence to project requirements at each Product Development Process (PDP) gate, from Pre-Contract through Start of Production (SOP). Working across SWE and EHE domains and coordinating with Powertrain and Vehicle Engineering, this role builds the milestone-readiness process that surfaces roadblocks early, drives their resolution and feeds the official Quality Milestone Assessment.

You’ll run structured milestone readiness reviews, own Quality KPIs and forecasting across SWE/EHE and build recovery plans that keep programs on track for a robust, on-time launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate project maturity against milestone requirements, deliverables and KPIs at each PDP gate
  • Drive milestone readiness reviews, challenging design, validation and manufacturing gaps across SWE/EHE
  • Coordinate milestone preparation with Powertrain and Vehicle Engineering stakeholders and Domain technical teams
  • Ensure coverage of every official milestone, from Pre-Contract through SOP
  • Support project teams in resolving roadblocks ahead of each gate and contribute to the official Quality Milestone Assessment
  • Own Quality KPIs and milestone performance forecasting across SWE and EHE domains
  • Capture and deploy Lessons Learned across programs to strengthen milestone convergence
  • Issue Management: prioritize and elevate critical roadblocks through Project reviews and cross-functional channels
  • Risk Management: assess severity, occurrence and detection (SOD) to support go/no-go recommendations at each gate
  • Recovery Planning: build recovery plans with SWE/EHE Domain teams to protect milestone and SOP delivery
  • Align SWE, EHE, Powertrain, Vehicle Engineering and program stakeholders on deliverables and quality metrics
  • Convert recurring roadblocks and milestone deviations into preventive actions and stronger process maturity
Critical Responsibilities

This role consolidates milestone-readiness data across SWE and EHE Domain teams to identify and prioritize the most significant risks to project convergence, coordinating internally and with Powertrain and Vehicle Engineering ahead of each official Quality Milestone Assessment. It is the central point of milestone convergence across the program, from Pre-Contract through SOP, keeping focus on the highest-risk roadblocks to protect a robust, on-time launch.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 8 years in Product Engineering, including coordinating SW/HW development milestones
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to challenge senior stakeholders
  • Solid grasp of the PDP and SWE/EHE milestone deliverables
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Project and AI-assisted engineering tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical expertise across ADAS, Infotainment & Connectivity, Vehicle Access & Start, Security Gateway Module and Body Control Module systems
  • Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience coordinating with Powertrain and Vehicle Engineering stakeholders across full vehicle programs
  • Familiarity with Stellantis tools: Quantic, PLM/PLE, Lessons Learned, Bulletins
  • Black Belt (Shainin Red X or Design for Six Sigma)
  • Project Management experience
