Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on large capital projects from the owner's or EPC side. You write the project quality plan, set surveillance/audit programs, qualify vendors, and report metrics to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.

You will manage nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned, ensuring records will stand up at turnover.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor/supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review contractor QC plans and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
