Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects, writing the quality requirements and ensuring they are met. You will balance field work with reviewing documents, documents, and records to verify compliance with the project quality plan.

You will review QC plans, inspections, and certifications, track audit findings, and report quality status to the project quality lead. Travel to sites will be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Able to read specifications, procedures, and inspection records and identify gaps
• Clear written reporting
• Organized in document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against project quality plan and specs
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
